AMREC initiates wind studies and licensing on its recently acquired 324 acres in WY. Based on 2019-2021 wind statistics, two hundred thirty-six turbines placed on this property should produce approximately 13MW of energy per year. According to the US Environmental Protection Agency Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies, it is enough to power 30,000 households and saves up to 52,000 metric tons of CO2, the equivalent of the emission generated by 11,000 vehicles in one year calculator. The wind farm will serve as a model for market development.
